Executive Board

President

Lucy Colwell ‘27

Lucy Colwell is a prospective English major with potential minors in Creative Writing and Musical Theatre. Hailing from Los Angeles, Lucy has been performing her whole life, acting in Shakespeare plays since she was 6 years old. After seeing the seductive dancing eggs in Something Rotten, Lucy just had to play a bigger role in PUP. She’s loved the welcoming community and cannot wait to help contribute!

John Heitz ’28

Business Manager

Mindy Sim ’27

Mindy Sim is a Molecular Biology major and pursuing a minor in Gender and Sexuality Studies. She is from Carmel, Indiana, which is the roundabout capital of the US—she cannot tolerate waiting at stoplights anymore! Outside of PUP, Mindy can be found working with fruit flies in lab, conferencing with students at the Writing Center, and looking for the best matcha in Princeton. After stage managing two PUP shows and sending out countless whenisgoods, Mindy was sold when Lauren (the outgoing BM) said that this position does not require sending “bumping this whenisgood!” emails. She’s excited to be a part of PUP and to work on many more shows!

Publicity Chair / Social Media Chair

David Getz ’28

David Getz is currently unsure of his major, so if you figure it out before him, please let him know! On campus, you can essentially always find David singing, whether it be in a PUP Production, with the Princeton Nassoons, or with the Princeton Glee Club. If you see him in the wild, he is bound to have headphones in, rushing from one activity to another. Ask him about his Magic Foot and capacity to Do Favors when asked.

Technical Director

Rowan Johnson ’27

Rowan Johnson is a philosophy major from the central (yes, central) NJ coast who loves parentheses. In their “free time,” one might find them playing in the theatre (shocker), playing on the cello (goodnight), or playing sad music and weeping over the Revolution that Never Was (✊😔) but trying to do something anyway. Rowan’s new favorite word is “poochon” (sorry, schnoodle) and his favorite color is still mallard’s head green (he swears it’s not the same as emerald). Please forgive him for plagiarizing his Intime bio without professorial consent.

Assistant Technical Director / Costumes & Props Manager

Annalise Schuck ’26

Annalise Schuck is disappointed by the lack of puppies at PUP, and she firmly believes that this name is false advertising. She likes assisting, tech, and directing, so this role is really a dream come true. Outside of PUP, you can find Annalise fulfilling this exact same role at Theatre Intime or tap dancing with the Princeton TapCats. She’s so excited to Play with the Princeton University Players!

In addition to being on PUP board, she is on the club swim team, is an Outdoor Action leader, and once in a while writes humor articles for The Daily Princetonian. Some of her favorite activities include trying to find good running trails in suburban New Jersey, making an irrational obsession with Shrek part of her personality, and maximizing her two swipes a week at the dining hall, courtesy of a large number of tupperwares and ziploc bags.

lpowens@princeton.edu

Co-Social Chair

Jenia Marquez ’25

Jenia is a senior from New York City concentrating in Linguistics with minors in French and Choral/Musical Theatre Conducting. When not frantically waving her hands in the pit of a PUP show, she can be found performing with the Tigerlilies, the Glee Club, and Trenton Youth Singers, as well as contemplating if anyone really needs a motive or thesis anyway as a Writing Center Fellow. You can usually find her in her natural habitat relishing over the fact she is currently employed so she can feed her growing bubble tea and stuffed animal addictions.
