PUP Board Elections
Interested in getting more involved with the musical theater community at Princeton? Want to help bring everything from hit Broadway shows to original musicals to campus? Join Princeton University Players (PUP) Board!
Elections to join PUP Board are held annually in December. Positions are yearlong and range across production, management, publicity, tech, and more. Students who have been involved with a PUP project (past or present) are eligible to vote. Anyone can run, and all are welcome to sit in, so pull up!
This year’s elections will be Wednesday, December 10th from 7:30-10pm in Kanji Hall B105 (NCW seminar room). If you can’t make it or can’t stay for the whole time but want to run, just email a short paragraph of which position(s) you’re interested in and why to Lucia Colwell (lc3584@princeton.edu). We hope to see you there!
PUP Proposals
Got a brilliant show idea? A musical masterpiece in the making? Each spring, PUP’s Proposals Board accepts pitches from students for shows to be produced in the following academic year. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
Proposals are typically due in March. A complete proposal includes:
- A written application answering questions regarding the show you’re proposing
- Your production team (does not need to be completely filled!)
- Your previous production or performance work
- A PDF copy of the script
- An interview with PUP’s Proposals Board
More information about the next PUP Proposals cycle will be available soon!
